What is this all about?

This is neither a run, nor is it a race against time.  The objective is to survive the zombie apocalypse, and stay as healthy as possible.

It is a light obstacle course-style event, with fast zombies at every turn just waiting to grab life flags that are attached to a belt around your waist.  Survive with as many life flags as possible!

When is it?

Saturday, October 3rd.  Check-in starts at 6:00pm, and the adventure begins promptly at 7:00pm.

Where is it?

The adventure will be begin and end at the amphitheater in Riverside Park, just north of the free bridge at Larry Holmes Drive & Church St.  The course runs through both Riverside Park and Scott Park.  Google map link.

Are there age limits?

You must be at least 16 years old to participate, due to safety reasons.

Where can I park?

Across the street from the amphitheater at Riverside Park is a free parking lot dedicated for this event.  It is at the Govenor Wolf building. Google map link.

Can I sign up as a human or a zombie?

At the moment, we are only recruiting humans. However, registration will be open for zombies soon.

Can I get more life flags?

Yes!  There is an option to purchase an additional pack of life flags before the start of the event, and there will be "health stations" throughout the event to grab an additional life flag.  Be careful though...zombies tend to roam in areas with higher concentrations of humans!

Can the zombies touch me?

No, and humans are not allowed to touch the zombies either.  Zombies are only allowed to grab the life flags around your belt.  We want this adventure to be safe for everyone, and anyone caught hoarding their flags or fighting with the zombies to keep their flags will be promptly removed from the event with no refund.

What do I get if I survive?

Everyone who participates will get a token letting the world know if they survived or not.  To survive, you must have at least one life flag left.  There will be prizes for the human who survives with the most life flags, and for the zombie who takes the most life flags.

Is there an after party?

Of course!  All participants and volunteers are invited to join us after the conclusion of the prize announcements.  Afterparty location to be determined. More information soon.

Can I get a refund if needed?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds once registered.  However, you can transfer your ticket to someone else if needed.  You must email us at easton.zompocalypse@gmail.com with the new name and wait for confirmation back before proceeding.

Where does my money for this event go?

The proceeds from this event benefit two local non-profit organizations:  Two Rivers Roller Derby and Easton Garlic Fest.

What do I do when all my flags have been taken and I am infected with the living dead virus?

When you enter the race as a human you must finish the race as a human. Although you are infected, you may not begin taking other human’s flags. Continue on to the end of the trail and look for "health stations" to pick up a flag and regain your humanity.

What can I bring with me?

BRING: photo ID, flashlight

DON'T BRING:  Animals, weapons, food or drinks of any kind, purses/bags. If you bring a purse or bag it will need to be checked at registration.
